Magnolia Design+Communications

Even thought the Federal Reserve has declared that The Great Recession is over, every for-profit and non-profit company is pressured to reduce their expenses. And one way to do this is to bring their marketing efforts in-house which is much easier said than done.

That’s why I designed a special 2-Day Graphic Design Workshop aimed specifically at businesses. With over 10-years of experience designing for Washington, DC area non-profit and for-profit companies, I understand your immediate and long-term needs. I will come into your office and teach you the fundamentals of graphic design and how to execute them using the most popular software tools available, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat.

This workshop consists of a combination of instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on learning over the course of two (2) half days. Why two half days? I’m glad you asked.

I’ve found that a half day is the ideal block of learning time for busy business professionals because it’s enough time to absorb a good amount of information, without displacing an entire day of work.

Also, in a half day of training, you can start to put some of your new skills into action right away. You’ll formulate questions you might not have thought of during the workshop and be able to address those questions immediately the following day.

Your company’s ability to achieve its goals is directly related to its ability to express and communicate them effectively. Don’t waste time reading Do-It-Yourself books or attending a cookie-cutter class. Have a professional local area Washington, DC graphic designer with over 10-years of experience address your needs directly.

If this sounds good to you, please contact me for more information.

“Your company’s ability to achieve its goals is directly related to its ability to express and communicate them effectively”

Sounds like textbook material to me..
Nevertheless sounds very appealing from a business stand point. Thanks for sharing this information with us.

Thank you for your reply. You’d be surprised what seems “textbook” to some, is sometimes easily overlooked by others. This isn’t a criticism. It just is. Small businesses and sole proprietorships are often so busy with day-to-day aspects of running a business and budget constraints that communications and strategy take a back seat. But creating your brand, leading your market and sometimes, when appropriate, hiring other experts to complete tasks better and in less time will always be time and money well spent.

The Magnolia Graphic Design Workshop is geared toward teaching business professionals just what they need to know to achieve their marketing and communications goals using the existing leading edge tools. No 500 page manual. No sorting search results. Just quick, efficient and relevant expertise.
