In addition to being a designer, I’m also a guitarist. I’ve been playing since I was about 13 or 14. But you don’t have to be a guitar player to appreciate the myriad of guitar styles available, both musically and aesthetically. They’re just terrific looking instruments and as varied as the performers who use them.

That’s why I had to bring you this when I saw it online: Artist Yoshihiko Satoh’s 12-neck guitar. Yes. TWELVE!

I haven’t seen anything like it since I saw Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick performing on MTV with a (measly) 5-neck guitar. But really? How many necks does your guitar really need? It’s not like you have 10 more arms.
